Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Revomnia is operated by the provider named in the Impressum (“we”). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Revomnia is a study tool: planning, guided learning and practice sessions, spaced-repetition flashcards, notes, and related features. We continuously improve the service; individual features may change. Revomnia supports your learning but cannot guarantee grades or exam results.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the app. Keep access to your sign-in email secure — anyone who controls it can access your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or have your guardian's consent.

4. Free plan, trial, and premium

• New accounts include a free trial of the premium features; no payment details are required for it.
• The free plan stays usable after the trial but limits scale (e.g. number of active courses, storage, planning horizon, AI usage).
• Paid subscriptions are sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. The purchase contract for the subscription is concluded with Lemon Squeezy and its terms, prices shown at checkout, and refund handling apply. Cancelling stops renewal; premium remains active until the end of the paid period.

5. Your content

Everything you create or upload stays yours. You grant us the technical rights needed to operate the service (storing, processing, displaying your content to you, and — only when you actively use AI features — transmitting the selected material to our AI provider). You are responsible for ensuring your uploads don't infringe third-party rights; course materials you upload remain for your personal study use.

6. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, no resale, no automated bulk access. We may suspend accounts that endanger the service or other users.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but provide the service without a guaranteed uptime. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control can cause interruptions. You can export your data at any time in Settings.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

9. Termination

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may terminate free accounts with reasonable notice and any account for cause (e.g. violation of §6). Statutory termination rights remain unaffected.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remains in force. We may amend these terms for the future with reasonable notice; continued use after the notice period counts as acceptance.
